Today, an Iraqi reporter thought he would be clever and tried to throw a shoe (size 10) at President of the United States of America, George W. Bush. C’mon, why would you want to do such a thing? I’ve been in mini-debates with people since hearing this news defending that it was DEFINITELY the wrong thing to do by this Iraqi Reporter (of al-Baghdadiya news), but everyone–for some ODD reason thinks it was definitely OK and justifiable for that reporter to throw the shoe at President George W. Bush. WHY? Extremely wrong AND shameful. The reporter is an absolutely disgrace… this is purely my opinion, so no one need to agree nor disagree with the statements I made above. With the global crisis, I definitely would not want to imagine what would have happened had that Iraqi reporters shoe actually hit my president–George W. Bush. We might not have liked what happened within the last 8 years with him being president, but this is something that should NOT have been attempted at.
