I am baffled why the stocks that the China stocks (CBAK, CDS, RCH) that invested in are so influenced by the U.S. stock market. If our market goes up, so does the stock, if our market goes down, so does the stock. Am I not really investing in how these companies will do overseas but rather what our beloved analysts and stock brokers/institutions think of the stock?

The stock market is 80% speculation. When a market as significant as the US one goes up or down, it has ripple effects around the globe.

Because you have the biggest stock market in the world, the biggest companies and do the biggest trade.
As they say in UK, when the US catch a cold,we get pneumonia. Such is life!
