As sharply as recently, not to mention 9/11!
I don’t recall ever so much bad news continuously……every day!
Not to long ago I have heard that election years were typically
conducive to a good economy!!
Has this ever happened before? Selecting a president in dire times? The last election year we had fat wallets……..! and counting!
When was the $ as low as this, not in my lifetime, it is lower than the Loonie across the border, our neighbor,
has that ever happened?

There have been a few slumps in recent history. Going backwards: After 9-11 is one of them. The other is the fall of the tech stocks in the late 90s/early 2000s. Before that the early 90s and the reason Bush senior lost his job.

We was doing great before the Millennium. But you know the world needs problems. We can only hope to solve them. This election is important in all directions. No one can be sure who would do the best for our country. I would vote for Romney or Edwards because they have what it takes to take us forward towards this brutal fight the world is in.
